Just like the other Prada fragrances, Perfumer Daniela (Roche) Andrier launched Infusion d'Iris in 2007 under the designer, Prada. The fragrance is a Woody, Floral, and Musky fragrance for women. Prada Infusion d'Iris is an oriental-woodsy perfume inspired by the obsolete method of making iris extract which took not less than six months of soaking before the sweetly fresh iris notes could be extracted. Prada Infusion d'Iris won the FiFi Award for Fragrance of The Year, Women`s Nouveau Niche 2008.
The contemporary and sophisticated fragrance opens with notes of galbanum, mandarin, orange blossom and orange which lead to the heart made up of cedar, iris, and vetiver and then to the base where you have incense and benzoin. It is contained in an elegant glass bottle similar to the bottles of retro perfume.
