Millesime Imperial by House of Creed was composed by the 6th generation Olivier Creed. It is said that he created the fragrance for an Arabian prince which is believable as the house of Creed has serviced royalty since 1760. The theme of the fragrance is motivated by the Sicilian seaside aesthetics, the ambiance and the floating effervescence under a warm sun.
The fragrance has a fruity opening, though the fruits are citrus in nature. This combination with the marine notes creates a salty fragrance balanced by citrus fruitiness. At the heart of the fragrance, the subtle iris can be experienced while the citrus notes fade. The closing is a pleasant scent with Amber and musk notes.
