In 1985, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana established Dolce&Gabbana in Legnano, Italy. They met in a Milan club in 1982 while designing for Giorgio Correggiari's fashion label, and in 1983, they founded a designer consultancy firm, named it Dolce & Gabbana, and hit the ground running.
