In 1981, Águeda Isabel Ruiz de la Prada debuted her women's fashion collection in Madrid where she also launched her first studio and began participating in fashion exhibitions in Barcelona and Madrid. She began to achieve international attention with fashion shows in Spain, France, Italy, Colombia, the United States, Puerto Rico, and Santo Domingo, as well as exhibitions in Tokyo, New York, Paris, Moscow, and Bucharest.
