Packaging

Adidas Fair Play has a sports theme, which is consistent with most Adidas fragrances. The packaging of the perfume is designed to reflect the sports theme, with the logo in front resembling a ball in motion. Overall, the packaging of Adidas Fair Play is a perfect representation of the fragrance - sporty, masculine, and energetic.

However this is one aspect of the fragrance that has let some down is the bottle. While it may be considered boring, it is also badly designed and produced from poor material. The rubber cap tends to wear off every time it is removed, leaving small bits of rubber on surfaces.

Review

Adidas is a brand that needs no introduction in the world of sports and fashion. Known for producing high-quality sportswear and footwear, the brand has also ventured into the world of fragrances. One of their affordable EDTs, Adidas Fair Play, is an interesting addition to the line.

As with their other fragrances, Adidas has a full line of deodorant, body spray, and aftershave to complement the EDT. Fair Play has a fresh wood and slightly citrusy scent that is linear, unlike its counterparts Ice Dive and Victory League, which have well-defined phases.

The fragrance has been compared to Acqua di Gio due to its woody base notes, but it is less floral and aquatic than the latter. Although Acqua di Gio may seem more simple, Fair Play has a powerful projection and lasts for about four hours, making it suitable for the gym or sports activities.

While Adidas Fair Play stands out from its other fragrances, it has been noted by some to be quite similar to Acqua di Gio. However, it lacks the longevity and sillage of the latter, which is reasonable considering its low price.

Final Thoughts

Despite its shortcomings, Adidas Fair Play is a decent EDT that provides good value for money. While it may not be suitable for serious or formal occasions, it is perfect for casual wear and sports activities. Its affordable price point makes it accessible to a wider audience, and its association with the Adidas brand adds to its appeal.
