History and Creation of Flowerbomb

The perfume was created by a French fashion house called Viktor & Rolf. The brand was founded in 1993 by Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren, two Dutch designers who met while studying at the Arnhem Academy of Art and Design in the Netherlands. The duo is renowned for their avant-garde and theatrical designs, which often push the boundaries of fashion.

Viktor & Rolf launched their first fragrance, Flowerbomb, in 2005. The scent was an instant hit and has since become one of the brand's signature fragrances. The creation of Flower Bomb perfume was a collaboration between Viktor & Rolf and three perfumers: Olivier Polge, Carlos Benaim, and Domitille Bertier.

Olivier Polge, the son of famous perfumer Jacques Polge, had already made a name for himself in the perfume industry before joining the Flowerbomb project. He had previously worked on fragrances such as Dior Homme, Balenciaga Paris, and Chanel Chance. Carlos Benaim was another seasoned perfumer who had created fragrances for brands like Yves Saint Laurent, Prada, and Calvin Klein. Domitille Bertier, the only woman in the trio, was a rising star in the industry, having worked on perfumes for brands such as Givenchy and Guerlain.

Together, the three perfumers worked with Viktor & Rolf to bring the Flower Bomb fragrance to life. The concept behind the perfume was to create a scent that was both floral and explosive, hence the name "Flowerbomb." The perfumers achieved

Together, the three perfumers worked with Viktor & Rolf to bring the Flowerbomb fragrance to life. The concept behind the perfume was to create a scent that was both floral and explosive, hence the name "Flower Bomb." The perfumers achieved the perfect balance of floral and explosive elements, making Flower Bomb a beloved and timeless classic.

Since its launch, Flowerbomb has become one of the most popular women's fragrances in the world. It has won numerous awards and has been praised by critics and customers alike. The success of Flower Bomb has led to the creation of several other fragrances under the Viktor & Rolf brand, including Bonbon and Spicebomb.

Viktor & Rolf's approach to fragrance is similar to their approach to fashion. They see perfume as a form of wearable art that should be both beautiful and thought-provoking. Their fragrances are often complex and multi-layered, with each note carefully chosen to create a specific effect.
