Bonbon Vs Bonbon Couture
Bonbon
In the spring of 2014, Viktor & Rolf released Bonbon, a new women's fragrance. This candy-inspired scent is aimed towards ladies who like pleasure and self-indulgence, as well as moments of relaxation and delight.
The scent is packaged in a pink container that resembles a wrapped candy. Cecile Matton and Serge Majoullier collaborated on its creation. Caramel is the main note, surrounded by fragrances of mandarin, orange, and peach at the top; orange blossom and jasmine blossoms in the centre; and cedar, guaiac wood, sandalwood, and amber in the base.
The campaign features model Edita Vilkeviciute, who was photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. The scent is available in Eau de Parfum sizes of 30, 50, and 100 ml.
Bonbon Couture
The Dutch fashion design pair Viktor&Rolf has released a new version of its 2014 Bonbon perfume, Bonbon Couture, which will be available in August. The fragrance's "Haute Couture" rendition is considered to be a more intense, opulent, and stronger version of the original, with more noticeable caramel undertones.
The original's perfumers, Cecile Matton and Serge Majoullier, also signed Bonbon Couture. The new edition's sophisticated and seductive oriental-gourmand composition opens with a delicious blend of mandarin, neroli oil, and peach. Its creamy heart notes comprise white flowers like orange blossom and Sambac jasmine, which are sweetened by a strong caramel flavor. A woody accord of sandalwood and patchouli, with vanilla and blonde tobacco, defines the base.
The design is the same.
