Ambush has a citrus opening with a cologne-like sweetness and powderiness. It quickly settles down to a calming, powdery blend of lavender, heliotrope, carnation, rose, vanilla, and woods. Although it isn’t at all sweet-smelling, it has an endearing warmth and purity to it. This perfume evokes feelings of feminine innocence, but a mature woman might wear it without smelling childish.
